FOR THE SUPPLY, DELIVERY, COMMISSIONING AND DEMONSTRATION OF A STATE-OF-THE-ART COLOUR DOPPLER ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY MACHINE FOR PAEDIATRIC USE IN THE ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY LABORATORY AT RED CROSS WAR MEMORIAL CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL.

Overview

Procurement of a state-of-the-art colour Doppler echocardiography machine for paediatric use at Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital, including supply, delivery, commissioning and on-site demonstration. Suitable bidders are medical imaging equipment suppliers with paediatric echocardiography expertise, SAHPRA/MCC registration or equivalent, DICOM/PACS integration capability, OEM training and ongoing service support, and the ability to provide on-site demonstration and training.

Requirements

• B-BBEE status per WCBD 6.1; submit valid certificate or sworn affidavit.
• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration; provide MAAA/CSD report or register prior to bid closing.
• Tax/compliance: SARS PIN or TCS; separate TCS for joint ventures; foreign bidders may need alternative compliance; non-compliant entities have 7 working days to rectify.
• SAHPRA/MCC registration: valid certificate required; proof to be included.
• Compliance with GCC; 80/20 price–points split; adherence to Preferential Procurement Regulations.
• Mandatory documents: WCBD1 (Parts A&B), WCBD3.1, WCBD4, WCBD6.1, Occupational Health & Safety Agreement, BBBEE documentation, and related annexures.
• Equipment must be installed, tested, demonstrated on site, and training provided; on-site demonstration unit required for evaluation.
• Bids must use official forms, be sealed, and be deposited in the bid box or posted to the specified address; bid validity of 120 days.
• Documented DICOM/PACS integration, ISO/CE/IEC compliance where applicable, and OEM support for spare parts and training.
