Overview

Procurement of the supply, installation and replacement of old damaged LPG and oxygen pipelines including testing and commissioning for a 2-month period. Eligible bidders are engineering/construction firms with CIDB registration (contractor grade at least equal to the required class), compliant SAQCC Gas registrations for LPG and Oxygen, and standard CIDB pre-qualifications (JV allowed with compliant partners). Requirements

• CIDB registration at the required contractor grade; joint ventures allowed with compliant participants. (TE document)
• Valid SAQCC Gas registrations for LPG and Oxygen; named Industrial LPG Installer and Industrial Oxygen Gas Practitioner credentials. (Annexure D_Technical_Evaluation Criteria.pdf)
• WPS/PQR/WPQR and a named coded welder with appropriate qualifications; relevant artisan trade qualifications. (Annexure D)
• Approved Inspection Authority (AIA) appointment before execution. (Annexure D)
• Health and Safety practitioner with recognised qualification (e.g., SAMTRAC). (Annexure D)
• Pre-qualification: CIDB, B-BBEE, CIDB grading, Tax Clearance, Central Supplier Database registration, Workmen’s Compensation Good Standing. (T2: Tender Data; C2.23 in TE file; Annexure E)
