Overview

Three-year labour contract for the repair and maintenance of vibratory screens, and relining secondary crusher components. This RFP targets service providers with mining-process mechanical/maintenance capability to perform labour-only maintenance for Foskor Phalaborwa’s vibrating screens and secondary crusher components.

Requirements

• Submit bids by the closing date in a sealed envelope and use official bid forms; returnable documents must be completed.
• Attend site visits/briefing sessions if indicated; compulsory sessions may lead to disqualification if not attended (briefing: 29 July 2026, 10:00, Foskor Phalaborwa Mine Crushers Boardroom) (Annexure C).
• Prices must be in Rand; deliver on a Delivered RSA/Delivered Duty Paid basis as specified; VAT shown separately; currency and pricing rules per Bid Conditions (Annexure C).
• Be prepared to provide security for contract fulfilment if required; comply with all contract terms and successful bid conditions (Annexure C, 24).
• Accept and sign the Integrity Pact and NDA obligations; adhere to anti-corruption, confidentiality and data protection requirements (Annexure D, Annexure E).

How to Apply

• Retrieve bid documents from the attached FOSPHB-RFP-16-2627.zip (see document listing) and follow the Bid Documents instructions (Section 3: submission, 11: returnables) (Annexure C).
• Participate in the mandatory briefing on 29 July 2026 at Foskor Phalaborwa Mine, 27 Selati Rd, Phalaborwa (address in briefing notice) (Annexure C).
• Submit the bid by 18 August 2026 at 12:00; deliver via sealed envelope as directed in the Bid Documents (Annexure C 3.1–3.3).
• Include all returnable documents listed in the RFX; include any required registrations or pre-qualifications (e.g., CIDB, tax clearance) as specified in the Bid Documents.
• If bidding on behalf of a foreign principal, ensure proper authorization and Power of Attorney where applicable (Annexure C 33).
• Be prepared for post-tender negotiations and potential 80/20 or 90/10 evaluation, per the Bid Conditions (Annexure C).
