Overview

Provision of Load and Haul services (Scope A) and Equipment Rental (Scope B) for Foskor’s North Pit open-pit mine over five years. Requirements

• CAS/PDS: all equipment must meet Foskor Level 9 CAS/PDS requirements; maintain and train personnel; no non-compliant equipment may operate on site.
• Experience and key personnel: leading open-pit loading/hauling contractor; CVs for Site Manager (min 5 years opencast), Mine Surveyor (min 5 years), and safety/foreman qualifications; adherence to competency verifications.
• Compliance: Mines Health and Safety Act, National Environmental Management Act, National Road Traffic Act; Foskor COPs/SOPs; environmental and safety management plans.
• Operations and measurements: 24/7 operations; weekly reconciliation and monthly performance reporting; measurement of ore to conveyor and waste rock dumps; adherence to defined haul distances and rehandling rules; ad hoc day-work only with pre-approved rates.
• Availability and maintenance: Scope B requires mechanical availability of 85%; maintenance strategies and full maintenance history; qualified maintenance personnel on site.
• Social responsibility: submit a Socio-Economic Development Plan (local subcontracting, local employment, CSI) (contractual post-award; not scoring).
