Overview

The RFP seeks the supply and delivery of Soda Ash Dense for a 36‑month period. Bidders should be chemical suppliers capable of meeting Foskor’s technical and regulatory requirements, including product quality (COA), delivery reliability, SHE commitments, and related contractual standards (Annexure A/B/C; NDA/Integrity Pact).

Requirements

• Compliance with Foskor’s bid conditions and integrity framework (Annexure D; Annexure E; Annexure F).
• Technical: provide COA (Certificate of Analysis), evidence of similar purchases/ deliveries for comparable volumes, lead-times, and a SHE plan (Annexure B; Annexure A).
• Regulatory/registration: Tax compliance (SARS TCS PIN or CSD number), and Central Supplier Database registration; BBBEE considerations.
• Contract/quality: Submit purchase orders or delivery references; ensure product meets Scope of Work (Annexure A).
• Security/obligations: Possible security clearance; adhere to confidential handling and data protection obligations.
• Misc: Signed acceptance of standard terms, and avoidance of collusion; confidentiality and non-disclosure commitments (Annexure C/D/E/F).

• Submission deadline: 29 September 2026 at 12:00. Questions deadline: 21 September 2026 12:00 (via the Clarification Form to Londi Seroto). Briefing: non‑mandatory 10 September 2026 at 11:00 via Microsoft Teams (join link in the RFP).
• Submission method: deposit hard copies in Foskor’s bid box at 21 John Ross Highway, Richards Bay, and email PDF submissions (max 5 MB) to tenderrbay@foskor.co.za; include a USB with the bid submission (exact copy of hard copy).
• Documents to submit: completed official bid documents (Section 1–Section 5), pricing and delivery schedule, and all returnable documents; Annexures A–F (Scope, Technical Evaluation, Template Agreement, General Conditions, Integrity Pact, NDA).
