Four-year term contract for mechanical and other related major plant and machinery installation, maintenance, repair, refurbishment and upgrade for Eastern Operations (KwaZulu-Natal). Requirements

• CIDB: 8ME or higher; if bidding via JV, lead partner must meet the requirement and combined grading must meet ME criteria. EP subcontractor option for electrical work if needed.
• Compulsory briefing: attendance at Spring Grove Dam briefing on 18 Sept 2026; provide Annexure A certificate.
• Area offices: Midmar and Klipfontein; if bidding for more than one area, resources cannot be shared; lead/EP arrangements as specified.
• Documentation and approvals: active CIDB registration; proof (Annexure J); proof of subcontractor if electrical work included (Annexure U); authority to sign (Annexure I); SBD forms (SBD1, SBD4, SBD6.1) and related Annexures (A–W) completed.
• Compliance: SARS Tax Compliance Status (PIN) or CSD registration; COID good standing; Compulsory Declaration; no conflicts of interest; NTP for insurer to provide Performance Guarantee (Annexure R) and proof from banker if required.
• Local content: declarations per DTI Annex C and D; follow Annexes C–E and related local-content guidance (Annex Excel: Annex “Annexures for local content calculation.xls”).
• Evaluation: 90/10 PPPFA preference scoring; minimum 70/100 for quality; workshop evaluation minimum 70/100; strict adherence to tender data (GCC 2025) and pricing in C2.2 schedules. (T1.2 – Tender Data)
