Overview

Framework Agreement for Provision of Repair and Maintenance of Motor Vehicles and Motor Cycles. Open national tender for automotive repair and maintenance services; suitable for workshops with automotive engineering capabilities. Joint ventures allowed (maximum three members). Submissions via the IFMIS Tender Portal; no security is required. Evaluation will be based on Lowest Evaluated Tender under a framework approach; prices in Kenyan Shillings.

Requirements

• Eligibility and qualifications per ITT (no public officers or relatives ineligible; no conflicts of interest; bidders not debarred).
• Financial capability: audited accounts or certified bank statements for the last year.
• Technical capability: evidence of undertaking similar services in the last two years; security personnel and premises evidence; qualified automotive engineering staff (high priority in scoring).
• Documentation: Form of Tender, Price Schedules, Joint Venture agreement (or letter of intent), Manufacturer’s Authorization if required, Tender-Securing Declaration or Tender Security as specified, and other documents listed in the preliminary and technical evaluation criteria.
• PASS MARK: 60% (technical evaluation includes finance, experience, security, premises, and staff).
• After-sales service: not required (as per ITT 16.2(b)).
• Local content/eligibility: compliance with general Kenyan procurement rules; debarment and nationality considerations apply.
