Overview

Framework Agreement for the supply and delivery of avocado seedlings to farmers within Nakuru County (call-off). Open national framework intended for supply and delivery of avocado seedlings to farmers, open to all qualified bidders (foreign and Kenyan, including JV arrangements) and subject to anti-corruption and tax compliance.

Requirements

• Open to all qualified tenderers; JV allowed; observe conflict-of-interest rules and be not debarred.
• Compliance with anti-corruption, Competition Act, and tax requirements; provide Certificate of Independent Tender Determination where required; tax clearance per Kenyan law.
• Tender validity: 210 days from opening (as per tender documents).
• Tender security: 400,000 shillings (bank guarantee, cash, insurer’s guarantee, etc.).
• Documents to submit (and forms to complete) as per Section IV: Form of Tender, Price Schedules, Tender Security or Declaration, Joint Venture Agreement if applicable, Manufacturer’s Authorization if required, qualifications and eligibility documentation, and conformity with specifications (plus any other documents in the TDS).
• Page integrity: serialize all tender pages in numerical order.
• Bids must be in Kenyan shillings and conform to price and payment terms in the schedule.

How to Apply

• Deadline: 30 October 2026 at 10:00 A.M (closing date/time; see attached documents CGN/DOALF/FW/018/2026-2027).
• Submission: electronic submissions are accepted via the specified portals; hard copies must be placed in the tender box at Nakuru County Headquarters (Moi Road) or posted to the address provided.
• Documents to complete/submit: Form of Tender and Price Schedules (Section IV), Tender Security or securing declaration (ITTs 18), Joint Venture documents if applicable, Manufacturer’s Authorization if required, tax clearance, eligibility and conformity evidence, and other documents listed in the tender documents.
• Registrations/pre-qualifications: tax clearance; evidence of eligibility; any mandatory registrations as specified in the TDS (and JV arrangements if applicable).
• Clarifications/briefings: request clarifications in writing; pre-tender meeting details, if any, will be in the TDS.
