Overview

Framework agreement for the supply and delivery of cleansing materials to Mwai Kibaki Referral Hospital (Kenya). Requirements

• Compliance with the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act 2015 and related anti-corruption controls; include a Certificate of Independent Tender Determination.
• Eligibility and qualifications: no disqualifying public-officer ties, no conflicts of interest, JV rules, nationality checks, and debarment screening.
• Eligible goods and origin: goods must meet origin rules; certain items must be sourced from Kenya with no substitutions from foreign sources; environmental compliance.
• Tender documentation and security: Form of Tender and Price Schedules; Tender Security or Securing Declaration; Manufacturer’s Authorization if applicable; Joint Venture agreement if forming a JV; tax clearance where required.
• Additional prerequisites: evidence of tax compliance; appropriate local representation/maintenance arrangements if not operating in Kenya.
