Overview

MBAGATHI HOSPITAL invites bids to establish a FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT FOR THE SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF MEDICAL OXYGEN for a 2-year period, open to all qualified bidders with relevant medical gas supply experience. The scope includes medical oxygen in cylinders (various sizes), medical liquid oxygen, and nitrous oxide, with required after-sales support and local production capacity considerations.

Requirements

• Eligibility and qualifications demonstrating not being disqualified, with required governance and integrity documentation.
• Goods origin and conformity: origin certificates, detailed technical descriptions, and evidence of compliance or substantial equivalence to technical specs.
• Bid security: unconditional bank guarantee of Ksh 100,000 valid for 120 days from tender opening.
• Tender documents: complete tender form and price schedules, two copies, properly signed, bound, and serialized.
• Language: tender and communications in English.
• Tender validity: 120 days from opening (with possible extension as specified).
• Registration/licensing: Tax Compliance Certificate, PPB licensing, trade license, CR12, manufacturers’ authorization if not a manufacturer, and evidence of premises.
• Delivery, spare parts, and service: evidence of after-sales service and spare-parts back-up within Kenya; defined delivery schedule.
• Pricing: fixed tender prices; clear breakdown (EXW plus transport/installation where applicable); price variations governed by Special Conditions (limited to 10% after first year).
