Overview

Framework Agreement for the supply and delivery of food stuffs and related perishable ingredients for two years. Open National competitive tender by Embu County Government. The framework will form a closed panel of at least seven vendors; call-offs awarded via purchase orders on an item-by-item basis; deliveries to Embu County Government. Requirements

• Compliance with Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act 2015; no corruption; declaration of independence; Certificate of Independent Tender Determination; no debarment.
• Eligible Tenderers and JV rules; JV members jointly liable; no public officers’ involvement; conflict of interest disqualification.
• Eligibility of Goods: origin from eligible countries; Kenyan sourcing requirements for specified items; no substitutions from foreign sources for listed categories.
• Tender security or tender securing declaration; validity as specified; tax clearance where required; evidence of qualifications per Section III.
• Documentation: Form of Tender, Price Schedules, Joint Venture Agreement if applicable, Manufacturer Authorization if required, and other documents per ITT 10–16. (see TENDER DOCUMENT)
