Overview

Framework agreement for the supply and delivery of pharmaceutical supplies for a period of two years. The Embu County Government invites open tenders for a closed-panel framework of at least seven suppliers to provide pharmaceutical goods and related services, with call-offs via purchase orders on an item-by-item basis delivered to Embu. Tenderers should have open eligibility, comply with anti-corruption rules, and meet Kenya-specific qualification and integrity requirements.

Requirements

• Open eligibility with joint ventures allowed; representatives must be empowered to act; no public officers’ involvement.
• Compliance with anti-corruption and competition rules; sign the Certificate of Independent Tender Determination.
• Tax clearance as evidence of tax compliance; nationality and debarment status to be checked (PPRA).
• If not manufacturing the offered goods, provide Manufacturer’s Authorization or local Agent representation; JV members jointly liable.
• Eligibility of goods and conformity to technical specifications; provide origin declarations and evidence of conformity to Schedule of Requirements.
• Tender security or Tender-Securing Declaration as specified; terms of security and duration stated in the TDS.
• Origin rules: certain Kenyan-origin sourcing requirements apply; environmental and safety considerations apply to eligible goods.

How to Apply

• Submission: hard/courier delivery to Embu County Headquarters Procurement Block; clearly marked envelopes; bulk tenders to the Director of Supply Chain Management Services. Tender opening in person on the stated date/place. (TENDER ADVERT)
