FRAMEWORK CONTRACT FOR HANDLING EMERGENCIES IN CORRIDOR A (YOUTH)Closed

Overview

Framework contract for handling emergencies in Corridor A (Youth) funded through the Fuel Maintenance Levy Fund (RMLF). KeNHA invites bids from eligible Kenyan construction companies registered with the National Construction Authority in categories NCA 5, 6 or 7 to establish a framework for emergency response along Corridor A (Youth). The scope is described in the tender documents.

Requirements

Mandatory qualifications to submit with the bid:

• Copy of certificate of incorporation
• Copy of valid NCA Annual Practising Licence in NCA classes 5/6/7
• Copy of valid Tax Compliance Certificate
• Copy of CR 12 form (issued within last 6 months)
• Copy of AGPO registration for the category Youth
• Serialise all pages of the tender submission
• Own the following equipment: Motor Grader (1), Excavator/Backhoe/Wheel Loader, Tipper (1)

Other conditions:

• Bidder may submit a maximum of two tenders but can be awarded only one
• Directors awarded tenders in FY 2025-2026 are not eligible
• Restrictions on bid participation by related directors/companies
• Bidders must comply with citizen-preference rules and no canvassing
• Post-qualification evaluation; rates must align with market references published by KeNHA

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 16 July 2026 at 09:00 (local time)
• Submission method: plain sealed envelope or Tender Box submission at KeNHA Nairobi Regional Office, Machakos Road, Industrial Area, Nairobi (or as specified in the tender notice)
• Documents to submit (examples):
  • Completed Tender Forms (e.g., ELI-1.1 to ELI-1.4 and Form of Tender) and pricing information
  • Copies of incorporation, NCA licence, Tax Clearance, CR12, AGPO Youth registration
  • Evidence of equipment ownership
  • Any other forms listed in the tender documents (see tender document)
• Pre-qualification/registrations required: NCA registration (Categories 5/6/7), AGPO, Tax Compliance; NCA registration to be completed before contract award
• Pre-bid clarifications: submit in writing to procurement@kenha.co.ke; responses (and clarifications) posted on the KeNHA PPIP portal as per the tender data sheet
