Senqu Local Municipality invites bids to establish a framework contract for civil and electrical engineering services, covering inception through close-out, project management, design, construction monitoring, and related consulting. Suitable for professional engineering firms with ECSA-registered leadership and a multidisciplinary team, and which can comply with municipal supplier database, CSD, and SCM policy requirements.

Requirements

• Registered on Senqu Supplier Database and National Treasury CSD; tax/compliance in order.
• Compliance with the SCM Policy and required professional qualifications/experience.
• Functional eligibility: minimum 75 points to qualify for pricing.
• Key personnel with specified professional registrations (e.g., Pr Eng/Pr Tech Eng for civil and electrical; EAP; geotechnical; SAGC; project managers, draughts) and CVs with verifiable experience.
• Professional Indemnity insurance of at least R5,000,000 per claim.
• Occupational Health and Safety compliance; ability to provide a Health and Safety Plan on request.
• Demonstrated four civil/engineering projects with investigation, planning, design, supervision, and approvals; sub-consultant arrangements allowed.
• Compulsory clarification meeting attendance; returnable schedules and declarations (MBDs, conflict of interest, etc.).
