Overview

Framework contract for provision of events management services (tents, dais & platform décor, red carpets, chairs, tables, public address system, etc.) on an as-and-when-required basis. Kitui County Government invites bids from qualifiedTenderers for Category A events services, with shortlisted bidders likely in Youth, Women, and Persons Living with Disabilities, and the contract runs on an open, as-and-when basis. Closing date is 17 July 2026; submission is via a physical tender box at the County Treasury entrances; electronic submission is not permitted.

Requirements

• Eligible Tenderers: any private entity, individual, state-owned body or JV; JV members are jointly liable.
• Prohibited: public officers and relatives; conflicts of interest; corrupt or collusive practices; debarment by PPRA.
• Key documents: Form of Tender, Price Schedules, Tender Security or Tender-Securing Declaration, JV Agreement (or letter of intent if forming a JV), Manufacturer Authorization if required, evidence of eligibility and qualifications.
• Specific eligibility: evidence of tax compliance; National Treasury registration for Youth/Women/PWD categories; serialisation/pagination of pages per PPAD Act 2015.
• Conformity: evidence that goods/services conform to tender specifications; list of spare parts and maintenance where applicable.
• Compliance is governed by ITT 1–29 in the tender documents, with further data in the Tender Data Sheet (TDS) and Section III (Evaluation) (see attached documents).

How to Apply

• Obtain documents: download from kitui.go.ke; if downloaded, send user details to the address in the tender doc to receive clarifications or addenda (see Framework Contract document). (Documents labeled “Framework Contract for Provision of Events Management Services.”)
• Submission: physically deliver a sealed tender to the tender box at the entrance of County Treasury – Governors Block; no electronic submission; ensure timely delivery by 17 July 2026, 10:00. (Notice)
• Contents: include Form of Tender, Price Schedules, Tender Security or Tender-Securing Declaration, Joint Venture documents if applicable, Manufacturer Authorization if needed, Tax clearance, and evidence of category eligibility. Serialise all pages. (Documents list in ITT 10–18)
• Clarifications and amendments: submit questions in writing; addenda issued as needed; pre-tender meeting may occur per TDS (minutes published).
