Overview

Framework contract for provision of heavy motor vehicle repair services and spare parts, on an as-and-when-required basis for equipment such as graders, wheel loaders, trailers, crawlers, backhoe loaders, drilling rigs, etc. Open to qualified and interested tenderers to supply repair services and spare parts under a framework arrangement (Open Tender).

Requirements

• Compliance with Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act 2015; include a declaration of no corruption and that you are not debarred.
• Eligibility and integrity: avoid conflicts of interest; no participation by public officers; JV must appoint a representative and be jointly liable.
• Tax compliance: current tax clearance certificate from the Kenya Revenue Authority.
• Debarment status: not debarred by PPRA; reference to PPRA listing.
• Origin and sourcing: goods/related services may originate from eligible countries; certain items must be Kenyan-sourced (e.g., motor vehicles assembled in Kenya, Kenyan-made goods).
• Tender security: tender must be accompanied by a tender security or tender-securing declaration (amount/currency to be specified in the tender documents).
• Documentation: submit Form of Tender, price schedules, and required contract/ Forms (as per Section IV).

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 17 July 2026 at 10:00 (FC/006). Late tenders will be rejected.
• Submission method: hand-delivered hard copies to the tender box at the County Treasury (Governors Block) and not electronic (FC/006).
• Documents to submit: completed tender documents including Form of Tender, Tender Security, Price Schedule Forms, and other standard forms; tender documents may be viewed/downloaded free or purchased (fees and process to be specified) (FC/006).
• Pre-qualifications/registrations: tax clearance certificate required; registration requirements defined in the Tender Data Sheet (TDS) (FC/006).
• Clarifications/briefings: pre-tender conference may be held as per the TDS; minutes and addenda will be published (FC/006).
