Overview

Framework contract for provision of maintenance and repair services for ICT equipment (photocopiers, printers, computers/laptops, etc.) on an as-and-when-required basis. Kitui County Government invites bids under an open competitive process for the ICT maintenance framework (FC/009/2025-2026). The tender targets qualified bidders in the Youth, Women and Persons with Disabilities categories and requires demonstrated capability in repair, maintenance, and related services for office ICT equipment.

Requirements

• Valid company registration, business permit/licence, VAT/PIN, and a current Tax Compliance Certificate.
• Proof of eligibility to participate as Youth, Women or PWD category bidder (National Treasury registration where applicable).
• Compliance with serialisation/pagination of tender pages (PPAD Act 2015, section 74(1)).
• Tender security or tender-securing declaration as prescribed in the Tender Data Sheet.
• Adherence to general integrity rules (no conflicts of interest, not debarred by PPRA; non-collusive practices with Certificate of Independent Tender Determination; suitable JV arrangements if a joint venture is used).

Optional/contextual, per ITT: Manufacturer’s authorization if supplying manufactured goods via a non-manufacturer; appropriate representation in Kenya if not manufacturing locally; conformity to Section VII (technical specs); eligibility of goods and related services.

How to Apply

• Deadline: complete tenders must be received by 17 July 2026 at 10:00. Late submissions are rejected.
• Submission method: sealed tender delivered to the Tender Box at the entrance of County Treasury – Governors Block (physical hand delivery). Electronic submission is not permitted.
• Documents to submit (at minimum): Form of Tender; Price Schedules; Tender Security or Tender-Securing Declaration; Joint Venture Agreement (or letter of intent for JV); Manufacturer’s Authorization (if applicable); Tax/eligibility documentation; evidence of compliance with serialisation (as required by PPAD).
• Pre-qualification/registrations: as per mandatory requirements (Tax Clearance, Youth/Women/PWD registration where applicable).
• Clarifications/addenda: addressed in writing; pre-tender meeting details (if scheduled) will be published; addenda issued via the procurement page.
