Overview

The City of Cape Town seeks a framework contract for dune rehabilitation, vegetation management and maintenance. This open tender targets bidders with CIDB grading Categories A, B or C (depending on project size), for a 36-month contract spanning dune rehabilitation and vegetation management works.

Requirements

• CIDB grading: Category A (2 SH) above R500k–R1m; Category B (3 SH) above R1m–R3m; Category C (4 SH) above R3m–R6m.
• Registration on Supplier Databases; if not already registered, registration may be requested in writing.
• Preference points: HDI/RDP goals; documentary proof (BBBEE, financials, sworn affidavits, etc.) must be submitted to claim preference.
• Site visit: non-compulsory but strongly recommended; hybrid meeting available (27 August 2026) at 44 Wale Street, Boardroom, or via Teams.
• Tender document collection: non-refundable fee of R300 on collection; documents available 14 August 2026 during 08:30–15:00.
• Final queries: must be lodged at least 7 calendar days before closing.
• Submission must use the issued tender documents; late or non-compliant submissions are not accepted.
