Quotations are invited for a suitable venue to host the Funda Mzansi Championship from 28 September 2026 to 02 October 2026. George Municipality invites venue operators/facility providers with event-hosting capacity to bid in the George area.

Requirements

• Submit a TCS PIN for tax compliance with the quotation.
• Bidders must register on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) if successful.
• Quotation evaluation: 80 points for price and 20 points for BBBEE status and Specific Goals.
• Quotation documents priced at a non-refundable deposit of R70.15 (or available free from the website).
• Quotes must be delivered in a sealed envelope, marked with the quotation number GMQ003/26-27, to the George Municipality by 12:00 on 31 August 2026 (open 12:05 the same day).
• The Municipality may withdraw/re-advertise or reject quotations; not bound to the lowest price.

• Obtain bid documents: deposit R70.15 at the Supply Chain Management Unit or download free from the George Municipality website (see Advertisement - GMQ003 of 26-27.pdf).
• Prepare and submit a sealed quotation clearly marked GMQ003/26-27 to the tender box, Fifth Floor, Civic Centre, 71 York Street, George, by 12:00 on 31 August 2026 (late/unmarked quotations not accepted; no post/fax).
• Include required compliance details: TCS PIN and evidence of CSD registration.
• Quotation opening: 12:05 on 31 August 2026 in the Committee Room.
