Overview

GMT004/26-27: Appointment of service provider to chip garden waste as when and required for a period of one year from date of appointment. The George Municipality seeks a contractor to chip garden waste at designated sites, delivering approximately 10,000 m³ of green waste processing with its own machinery and staff (including a horizontal grinder with a 60" throat and a log loader). Bidders must be capable of producing mulch, maintaining safety, and reporting daily volumes.

Requirements

• Eligibility: one similar completed project in the last seven years with verifiable references; valid Department of Labour good standing; proof of required machinery (60" throat grinder and log loader) plus photos/asset register or deed of hire; submit documents 2.6.1–2.6.3.
• Compliance: SARS Tax Compliance (TCS PIN or CSD number) and, if applicable, BBBEE documentation; register on the Central Supplier Database.
