Overview

Appointment of a Service Provider to supply Advertising Agency Services for Destination Marketing, Events, and Advertising as and when required, for a period of three (3) years from date of appointment. George Municipality invites bids from agencies with capabilities in tourism/destination marketing, creative development, media planning/buying, digital marketing, and related services to support destination branding and events.

Requirements

• Experience servicing at least one tourism/destination marketing client in the last 5 years.
• Competent team: Team Leader (Marketing/Strategy degree, 5+ years in marketing/campaign management); Web Development (5+ years WordPress, Google Analytics Certification); Digital Advertising (Google Ads Measurement Certification, 2+ years); Graphic Design (diploma or higher, 2+ years servicing clients); minimum three members.
• Submit qualifications and CVs; provide evidence of past work and qualifications.
• Compulsory location: set up an office or permanent representative in the Garden Route jurisdiction within 30 days.
• Tax compliance: submit TCS PIN or CSD number; B-BBEE certification (original or certified copy) and, where applicable, evidence for preference points.
• Compliance with GCC and SCM policy; no bids from state employees; local economic impact requirements; confidentiality and POPIA compliance; IP ownership upon payment; licensing rights for third-party content.

• Submission deadline: 28 October 2026 at 12:00 (closing time). Late/unmarked tenders will not be considered.
• Submission method: completed tenders to be deposited in the tender box at George Municipality, 5th Floor, Civic Centre, York Street, George (sealed envelopes; no post/fax/email submissions).
• Documents to complete/submit: Official bidding forms and schedules (GST/Tax forms, MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9, Pricing Schedule, Schedule of Sub‑Contractors, past experience, etc.); Pricing Schedule with bi‑annual detail; bid validity (90 days).
• Pre-qualifications/registrations: TCS PIN or CSD registration; Central Supplier Database registration; B-BBEE documentation.
• Document access: Tender documents available for a non-refundable deposit (R309.35) from SCM Unit or free on the George Municipality website.
