Overview

GMT056/25-26 covers the supply, installation, maintenance and support for the George Municipality’s municipal telemetry system through 30 June 2029. Bidders should be system integrators with Adroit SCADA experience and the ability to provide ongoing technical support, including qualification on the SCADA OPC driver interface.

Requirements

• Attend the compulsory clarification meeting (14 August 2026, 10:00, The Old Town Hall) and sign the attendance register.
• Be an Authorized System Integrator of the Adroit SCADA software.
• Provide proof of qualification for the SCADA OPC driver interface (training certificate) in the bidder’s name or in the name of the proposed programmer, or a signed letter of intent to employ with that person.
• Submit a SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN with the tender.
• Successful bidder must register on the Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• Evaluation stages: Stage 1 – eligibility (clarification attendance, Adroit integrator status, training certificate); Stage 2 – functionality (minimum 70/100); Stage 3 – price and preferences under PPPFA 2000/Regulations 2022 (80 points for price, 20 for B-BBEE and specific goals).
