Overview

GMT: provision of AWS cloud hosting and related services for GMT systems for a period of 3 years. Bidders should be cloud hosting providers with AWS capabilities able to deliver enterprise-grade hosting, SLA management, security and related services, and meet Western Cape procurement prerequisites (B-BBEE, tax, supplier registrations).

Requirements

• B-BBEE: valid B-BBEE Status Level Verification Certificate or sworn affidavit (80:20) and related submission with WCBD4.
• Tax compliance: ensure tax obligations are up to date; provide printed Tax Compliance Status (TCS) with bid; separate TCS for joint ventures/sub-contractors.
• Registrations: registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and Western Cape Supplier Evidence Bank (WCSEB); annual updates of WCBD4 and WCBD6.1; provide CSD/WCSEB numbers.
• Documentation: complete and sign all returnable schedules (e.g., WCBD1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6); price schedule must be fully priced; no amendments except as allowed.
• Functionality: must score at least 70% in the functionality assessment to proceed to price/preference evaluation.
• Compliance checks: no tender defaulters or restricted suppliers; complete Declaration of Interests.
• Additional: two-envelope method not used; may require on-site risk assessment prior to award.
