Overview

Procurement of boiler operations and repairs at St Albans Prison, Gqeberha, for five months. Bidders should be contractors with a CIDB grading of at least 3 ME/3 ME (or capable of upgrading within 21 working days) and proven boiler operation/maintenance capability.

Requirements

• CIDB grading: 3 ME/3 ME or higher (or upgradeable within 21 working days).
• Minimum key staff with qualifications: 1 Mechanical Fitter or Millwright; 2 Boiler Operators; 2 Boiler Operator Assistants; 1 Electrician with a wireman’s license; CVs/qualifications to be submitted.
• Compliance and administration: registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD); valid COIDA Good Standing; include VAT if bid price before VAT exceeds R1 million; submission of DPW-09/DPW-21/PA series forms as applicable; acknowledgment of any bid addenda (DPW-21).
