Overview

Procurement of the Greater Orange Farm Phase 3A Water Infrastructure Upgrade and Renewal project, including water metering installation and reticulation works. Bidders should be experienced civil/municipal water contractors with CIDB grading 8CE or higher, active status, and the capacity to meet financial and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• CIDB: contractor grading 8CE or higher; active status at evaluation; JV allowed with each member meeting CIDB requirements.
• Mandatory briefing: attendance is compulsory.
• Returnables and compliance: complete and sign MBD forms (MBD1, MBD4, MBD5, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9) and annexures; provide CIDB, CSD, SARS TCS/PIN, BBBEE evidence; municipal accounts or valid lease where applicable.
• Financial capacity: bank statements or equivalent showing at least 10% of bid value; 3-year financial statements if required (audited where applicable).
• Municipal and site conditions: up-to-date municipal accounts (not older than 3 months at submission or arrangement in place); access to premises for inspection during working hours.
• Insurance and security: provide specified insurances and performance/security guarantees as required.
• Compliance rules: no canvassing of officials; adhere to POPIA/privacy, and tax compliance requirements for JV/consortia.
