Overview

This tender requests the HIRE OF MOBILE COMPACTOR WITH OPERATOR FOR RIVIERSONDEREND GWS/THEEWATERSKLOOF DAM FOR DWS CONSTRUCTION SOUTH-WESTERN CAPE, with CIDB grading 1CE or higher required to bid. It targets Western Cape-based contractors with CIDB 1CE+ for the Theewaterskloof site works (WTE-0550 CS).

Requirements

• CIDB grading 1CE or higher.
• Attendance at the compulsory briefing session (7 Aug 2026, 11:00–12:00, Kwaggaskloof Dam Site Offices; coordinates provided).
• Completion and submission of official bid forms and schedules (SBD1, SBD4, SBD6.1; pricing as per the Pricing Schedule).
• Tax compliance: SARS PIN/TCS; CSD registration if applicable; SARS tax clearance.
• Active registration with CIPC/CIPRO and proof of good standing with relevant statutory bodies (e.g., COID/insurance).
• B-BBEE status verification certificate (or acceptable affidavit for EMEs/QSEs) and ownership/goals documentation.
• Compliance with all general/contractual conditions and sign-off of authority to bid.
• Proof for Phase 1 mandatory requirements (briefing attendance, CIDB level, etc.).

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 20 August 2026 at 11:00 (Document: WTE-0550 CS).
• Submission method: either deposit in the bid box at the entrance of 4-6 Alkmaar Street, Dal Josaphat, Paarl, or submit per the address indicated in the bid documents.
• Documents to complete and submit: SBD1, SBD4, SBD6.1, pricing schedule (SBD3.1), together with attendance certificate for the briefing and CIDB proof (see attached bid documents).
• Pre-qualifications/registrations: SARS TCS PIN or SARS Tax Clearance, CSD number, CIPC registration, and B-BBEE verification as applicable.
