Overview

Requirements

• Compliance with the City’s SCM Policy and tender conditions; no conflicts of interest; integrity in dealings.
• For bid submission: complete Details of Tenderer, Certificate of Authority for Partnerships/JVs, partnership agreements if applicable, Declarations of Interest and Conflict of Interest, Certificate of Independent Bid Determination, Tax matters in order, and related authorisations.
• Documentation for each bus offered: a clear RC1 certificate and valid operating licenses in the name of the tendering entity.
• Registrations: registration on the City of Cape Town Supplier Database and on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD); SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN.
• Health and safety: comply with Occupational Health and Safety Act; provide a Health and Safety Plan if requested.
• Evaluation: 80/20 price/preference scoring; comply with price schedules and returnable documents.
• Site visit/clarification: attend if possible; not compulsory but strongly recommended.
