Overview

Hiring of a 20-Ton Long Arm Excavator for housekeeping at Velddrif WWTW. Bergrivier Municipality invites quotations from competent service providers to hire a 20-ton long-arm excavator (with operator) for site housekeeping at Velddrif Wastewater Treatment Works.

Requirements

• Registration on National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) and provide CSD number (MAAA…).
• Tax compliance: provide Tax Compliance Status PIN or SARS tax clearance certificate; for foreign suppliers, complete Part B and submit TCS/PIN or CSD.
• BBBEE: submit originally certified B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; points awarded per PPPFA rules.
• Pricing must be fixed and VAT-inclusive; quotations valid for 120 days; delivery period stated.
• Equipment and operator documentation: operator certificate and medical for excavator; vehicle/Natis docs and driver licenses for the 10m3 tipper truck; all documents to be included.
• Minimum three (3) contactable references for similar works in last five years.
• Compliance with PPPFA 80/20 (price vs. preferences), local/BBEE points, and submission of MBD forms (MBD1, MBD3.2, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD7.1, etc.).
• Hard copy bid documents must be in black ink; no late or faxed submissions; proof of dispatch not proof of receipt.
