Overview

The Department of Water and Sanitation invites bids to hire a TLB with operator for the Potchefstroom Area Office (TLB hire with operator). South African bidders only, with compliance to PPPFA, SBDs, CSD, SARS tax compliance and BBBEE where applicable. The contract covers 400 hours of TLB hire (canal cleaning) with delivery and on-site operation for the Potchefstroom area, to be executed per the bid documents.

Requirements

• Compliance with standard bidding forms (SBD1, SBD3.1, SBD4; SBD6.1 for preference points) and the pricing schedule.
• Tax compliance: provide SARS PIN or CSD number if no TCS; verification via SARS/CSD.
• Active registration with CIPC/CIPRO and authority to sign (proof of resolution).
• BBBEE status evidence (certificate or sworn affidavit) if claiming preference points.
• Proof of Workmen’s Compensation/Good Standing; insurance and related pre-qualifications as required.
• Delivery of the TLB with operator within 7 days of order; site delivery to Admin Building Reception, Potchefstroom.
• Compliance with delivery window (7h30–16h00; no deliveries on weekends/holidays); inspection certificate upon delivery.
• Acceptance risk transfer at delivery; all loads must meet spec; defective loads must be replaced.
• Manufacturer’s supply letter to be provided within 14 days if awarded.
• Offer validity: 120 days from closing date.
