Overview

EOI to engage consulting firms for Feasibility Study and Transaction Advisory Services for the Nairobi–Mombasa Road under a PPP framework. The assignment, financed by the World Bank through the Horn of Africa Gateway Development Project, is led by KeNHA with PPP Directorate technical oversight. It covers a two-phase process (Phase 1: 6 months feasibility; Phase 2: 9 months transaction advisory), for a corridor of about 500 km (A8), evaluating upgrading vs a new parallel expressway and a PPP procurement path.

Requirements

• Core practice areas: transportation/highway engineering; transport infrastructure planning and advisory; engineering feasibility studies; PPP transaction advisory; 15+ years in business.
• Experience: at least three similar assignments in the last 10 years covering feasibility studies, highway design, traffic forecasting/ITS, environmental and social safeguards, and PPP advisory.
• Capabilities: demonstrated technical team, equipment and software; joint ventures allowed; Key Experts not evaluated at shortlisting.
