Appointment of a Panel of Contractors (CIDB G3EP to 9EP) to provide Construction Services ( Electrification, Public Lighting and Capital Projects) to Alfred Duma Local Municipality for a period of three years. Bidders should be qualified electrical contractors or consortia with CIDB 3EP–9EP, capable of LV/MV works, street lighting and related capital projects; evaluation rewards price, local ownership (HDI) and local area presence (Alfred Duma) (IATS 2025/2026/12.pdf).

Requirements

• CIDB grade 3EP to 9EP with capacity for LV/MV works and public lighting.
• Key personnel: Project Leader (BEng or BSc Electrical), Commission Engineer (BTech/AND), Electricians (trade-tested; ECSA-registered).
• Evidence of five similar completed projects; attach appointment letters, reference letters.
• SHERQ plan with COIDA certificates; EPWP compliance.
• Plant/equipment: crane truck, multiple cherry-pickers, injection sets; ownership or approved lease in company/director’s name.
• Valid Electrical Contractors registration with Department of Labour; Tax clearance; CSD registration; BBBEE certificate/sworn affidavit; no outstanding debts with relevant municipalities.
• Three-year audited financial statements; site meetings and EPWP obligations; service level agreement framework.
