Overview

Procurement of a panel of service providers for the supply and delivery of coldmix asphalt, emulsion and degreaser as and when required for a period of three years. Suitable bidders are material suppliers and contractors capable of road-surfacing products, with ability to service Alfred Duma Local Municipality (Ladysmith) stores, and meeting CSD/BBBEE, HDI ownership and local-ownership requirements.

Requirements

• Registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and provide CSD/BBBEE evidence.
• Valid Tax Clearance Certificate (MBD 2) for each party; original certificate required.
• Demonstrate ownership/HDI criteria; comply with 80/20 evaluation (price/ownership) and Alfred Duma location goals.
• Provide evidence of past similar projects and financial capacity (bank letter; statements if requested).
• Distributors must hold a valid Certificate of Competency to transport cold mix (per specification).
• Returnable documents: Form MBD 2, 4, 6.1, 7.2, 8, 9, Declaration of Interest, and other listed schedules.
• If applicable, Joint Venture agreements and three-year audited financial statements for bids > R10 million.
• Delivery capability: 7 days from order; Annexure A pricing for coldmix, emulsion and degreaser.
