Overview

Appointment of a panel of service providers to supply and delivery of premix and/or laying of bitumen or asphalt products for a period of three years. Alfred Duma Local Municipality invites bids from suitably qualified organisations/consortia to supply, deliver premix and/or lay bitumen or asphalt products across the municipality for three years. Key bidders include civil/road construction firms with CIDB grading 3SB or higher; the process uses an 80/20 points system (price 80, Ownership as a Specific Goal 20) and prioritises local presence (RDP goals). Requirements

• CIDB grading of 3SB or higher.
• Proof of HDI ownership and compliance with BBBEE requirements.
• Located in the Alfred Duma Local Municipality area (RDP/local presence).
• Registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and a valid tax clearance.
• Up-to-date municipal rates & taxes; SARS tax matters in order.
• Evidence of past relevant road/asphalt projects and references.
• Attendance at the compulsory briefing session (failure to attend invalidates bid).
• Returnable documents and forms completed as part of bid evaluation (see (IATS 2025 2026 16.pdf)).
