Overview

Procurement of construction works to implement internal roads (Street 1 & Street 4) in Ward 6 (Ngobi Village), for CIDB 5CE or higher contractors. Moretele Local Municipality invites eligible road/ civil contractors to bid.

Requirements

• CIDB: registration as 5CE or higher, active status at closing; proof of CIDB registration and renewal if expiring during tender period.
• Eligibility: legal entity (or JV with compliant lead partner); CIDB requirements apply to all members; JV arrangements must meet CIDB/Regulations.
• Qualifications and forms: complete MBD 4, MBD 5 (where applicable), MBD 8, MBD 9; Compulsory Enterprise Questionnaire; SBD forms; JV certificates if applicable.
• Pre-qualification/registrations: CSD, VAT status if applicable, tax matters current; BBBEE certificate (SANAS/CIPC or sworn affidavit for JV).
• Documentation and compliance: Returnable documents (T2.1 List; T2.2 Returnable Schedules); proof of municipal rates or valid lease/letters as required.
• Preferences: PPPFA points (HDI, Women, Disability, Youth, Locality) with applicable CSD/BEE evidence.
• Site and safety: adherence to GCC 2015, OHS Act and Regulations; insurance considerations.

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 12:00 on 03 July 2026; bid validity 90 days.
• Briefing/clarification: compulsory briefing on 10 June 2026 at 12:00 at Moretele Local Municipality, Municipal Hall (4065 B, Mathibestad, Makapanstad 0404).
• Submission method: sealed single-envelope tender delivered to Moretele Local Municipality, 4065 B, Mathibestad; outer package must be sealed and clearly marked with the tender number MLM/MIG/IDS/IR/W6-26-27 (no fax/email submissions).
• Documents to submit: full original bid format plus copies; Returnable documents (T2.1/T2.2) including CIDB, CSD, tax, BBBEE, SBD forms, proof of ownership, bank/financial references, and CVs for key personnel (see attached document for detailed lists) (Ngobi Village Ward_6_Tender Document_Updated.pdf).
• Pre-qualifications: CIDB 5CE+, active; CSD registration; tax clearance; proof of municipal rates; Letter of Good Standing for COID; bank/financial references; proof of BBBEE.
