Overview

Procurement of the eradication of pit latrines at Khukhulela Primary/High School, Mdlangathi Secondary School and Rietvlei Secondary School in Harry Gwala and uGu Districts, KwaZulu-Natal. Bidders should be CIDB 6GB or higher, eligible for Joint Ventures with JV agreements, and capable of managing a school-site pit-latrine eradication project. Local participation is encouraged.

Requirements

• CIDB: Grade 6GB (or higher); JV participants must meet CIDB criteria and submit a joint venture agreement.
• Registrations & certificates: proof of CIDB, proof of Consolidated CSD, valid tax clearance with PIN; COIDA/insurance as specified.
• Bid documents: complete Form of Offer, Bills of Quantities (with 15% VAT), and all mandatory returnable documents.
• Compliance: use black ink, no correction fluid; sign/initial alterations; attend compulsory briefing; provide Public Liability Insurance (R5m+).
• Team & finances: include key personnel CVs/qualifications, proof of plant ownership/lease, and demonstrate financial viability.
