Overview

The Independent Development Trust invites tenders for the IMPLEMENTATION OF THE ERADICATION OF PIT LATRINES AT KWAHLUZINGQONDO HIGH SCHOOL AND INJABULO SENIOR PRIMARY SCHOOL IN UGU DISTRICT, KWAZULU-NATAL PROVINCE. Proposals are for construction works related to sanitation infrastructure at two schools. Bidders should be CIDB-registered (Grade 6GB or higher, or a JV with combined 6GB) and have relevant building/civil works capability, plant, and qualified staff.

Requirements

• CIDB Registration: Grade 6GB or higher (joint ventures must meet combined 6GB).
• Administrative: CSD registration, complete SBD 1, 4, 6.1, tax clearance with PIN.
• Mandatory: Consolidated CSD for JV parties, COIDA good standing, completed Form of Offer, completed BOQ, notarised JV agreement if applicable.
• Insurances: Public liability insurance of at least R5 million.
• Personnel: Key personnel in building engineering with CVs/qualifications; site management personnel as specified.
• Site/Briefing: Attendance at compulsory briefing; site visits permitted.
• Tender execution: All parts completed in black ink with signatures; no correction fluid.
• Compliance: Not listed on the Register of Tender Defaulters; not employed by the State; CIPRO/ID documentation as required.
• Project duration: Construction period of 4 months.
