Overview

The Independent Development Trust invites bids for the IMPLEMENTATION OF THE ERADICATION OF PIT LATRINES AT MANQOBA SECONDARY SCHOOL AND MAWELA HIGH SCHOOL IN UMZINYATHI DISTRICT, KWAZULU-NATAL (Tender IDTKN27DOE025). Requirements

• CIDB: Grade 6GB or higher (lead partner must hold 6GB; joint ventures allowed with combined 6GB or higher).
• Administrative: proof of CSD registration; completion of SBD 1, 4, 6.1; valid tax clearance with PIN.
• Mandatory: consolidated CSD for JV parties; COIDA/insurance (Good Standing); signed Joint Venture Agreement if applicable; valid Public Liability Insurance ≥ R5 Million; attendance at compulsory briefing; all tender parts completed in black ink and signed; no correction fluid.
• Additional: proof of experience, client references, qualified professional staff, plant ownership/lease, and financial viability (Stage 1 functionality, minimum 70%); Stage 2 applies 80/20 price/preference scoring with targeted group points (Women, Youth, People with Disabilities, Black People).
• Site briefing: compulsory briefing on 07 October 2026 (online via MS Teams).
• Duration: Construction project period is 4 months.
• Other: compliance with CIDB/IDT tender rules, and acceptance of the right to award all or part of the bid.
