Independent Audits: Water quality sampling, testing and monthly reporting of SANS241:2015 parameters for 24 months at Rand Water distribution points. Bid by SANAS ISO 17025 accredited laboratories capable of field sampling (chlorine species) and laboratory analyses (45 parameters, including Cryptosporidium/Giardia), delivering monthly reports with a 14-working-day turnaround.

Requirements

• SANAS ISO 17025 accreditation; proof for 31 of 45 parameters (70%).
• If using non‑ISO methods, provide GLP or accreditation alternatives; subcontracting allowed to only two ISO 17025 labs, with 60%+ work in‑house.
• Field and laboratory capacity: equipped for 5 samples/month (24 months), mobile sampling, proper transport and on‑site chlorine measurements; SANAS‑accredited methods for analyses.
• Personnel and equipment: qualified field samplers, laboratory analysts, a lab supervisor/manager, a financial administrator; appropriate field and lab equipment (vehicles, cooler boxes, field meters, lab instruments).
• Experience and references: prior drinking-water quality analyses; returnable reference letters; company organogram.
• Returnable documents: SBD 4, Company Resolution Letter, SANAS B-BBEE certificate/sworn affidavit, tax/VAT status, CSD/MAAA entry as applicable.
