INDEPENDENT ROAD SAFETY AUDIT FOR THE UPGRADING ON NATIONAL ROUTE R518 SECTION 2 FROM MAPETA (KM 97.5) TO MOKOPANE (KM 102.2) CONTRACT SANRAL R518-020-2019/1-RSA INVITATION FOR QUOTATION TO UNDERTAKE AN INDEPENDENT ROAD SAFETY AUDIT CLOSING DATE (AT 12:00): 30 October 2026 iX engineers (Pty) Ltd were appointed by the South African National Roads Agency SOC Ltd (SANRAL) FOR THE UPGRADING ON NATIONAL ROUTE R518 SECTION 2 FROM MAPETA (KM 97.5) TO MOKOPANE (KM 102.2). The project falls within the Limpopo Province, within the Waterberg district municipality and within the Mogalakwena Local Municipality. The aim of this project is to relieve congestion to acceptable levels of service, improve road safety and adequate traffic . Additional capacity is achieved in the form of upgrading the existing facility. A Road Safety Audit is therefore required Only Consulting Engineering Firms with a B-BBEE contributor status level of 1 or 2, are eligible to submit quotations. Firms with road safety and traffic engineering experience are therefore invited to submit a quote to undertake an independent Road Safety Audit. A clarification meeting will not be held, but it is essential that prospective tenderers familiarise themselves with the site.
