Overview

Eskom invites bids for the Ingula Fire Protection System under a NEC3 Term Service Contract to inspect, service, test and supply spares for the Ingula Fire Protection System at the Ingula Pumped Storage Scheme (5-year service period). The contract targets specialists in fire protection systems, NEC3 TSC3 experience, and related maintenance services; open to eligible bidders with CIDB registration and Eskom tender compliance.

Requirements

• Eligibility: bidders must meet Eskom tender eligibility (no business-restrictions with Eskom/State-Owned Companies; JV/consortium must ensure joint and several liability; no conflicts of interest).
• CIDB & CPD: CIDB registration appropriate to the works; CIDB Contract Skills Development Goals (CSDG) and related requirements apply.
• Mandatory documents: complete and submit SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1, SBD 6.2 (if designated materials are included) plus CPA/local content declarations; Tax Evaluation questionnaire; Supplier Integrity Pact commitments; E-tendering help forms (Attachment 12–13).
• Local content and CPA: CPA requirements for Local Goods/Services; Local Content Declaration schedules (Annexures C–E, G1–G4 as applicable).
• CSD & registration: Proof of CSD registration required.
• Site/clarification: Attendance at compulsory site clarification meeting is required.
• Safety/Quality: Compliance with Eskom Safety & Quality requirements and related attachments.

• Submission deadline: 27 July 2026 at 10:00. (ITT Rev. 28)
• Submission method: Electronic submission via Eskom E-tendering site; upload into Technical, Commercial, Financial folders; price list submitted in PDF and Excel; no hard copies or zip files.
• Required documents: full tender package including SBD forms, CPA declarations, CIDB evidence, pricing schedule/BOQ (PDF and Excel), and all other returnables listed in the Tender Data. (Refer to ITT Annexures and Attachment 3 for pricing.)
• Registrations/pre-qualifications: Proof of CSD registration; CIDB registration; adherence to PPPFA 2022, and supplier integrity requirements.
• Briefing/clarification: Compulsory site clarification meeting on 14 July 2026 at Ingula Pump Storage Scheme; confirm attendance by 13 July 2026 12:00 with attendee details (document: ITT Rev. 28).
