Overview

Procurement of installation and commissioning of air-conditioning units at NRCS C/BLOCK labs and offices. Suitably qualified HVAC contractors with CIDB 1ME or higher and SARACCA registration should bid, bringing HVAC, electrical wiring, refrigeration gas handling, and site installation capabilities.

Requirements

• CIDB Grading: 1ME or higher
• Registration: SARACCA (South African Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Contractors Association)
• Stage 2 qualifications: HVAC technician certification; Electrical competency certificate; Refrigeration gas handling certification
• Experience: three reference letters on company letterhead for similar work within 5 years
• Compliance documents: CSD registration report; BBBEE certificate or Sworn Affidavit; SBD 4; SBD 6.1; Non-Disclosure Agreement; General Conditions of Contract
• Additional: adherence to SABS procurement terms and conditions; bid validity of 120 days (extendable by 60 days)
