Overview

Procurement of supply and installation of air conditioner systems at SAFCOL Berlin Plantation, Mbombela. Bidders should be qualified contractors in electrical/building works, with CIDB Grade 1ME or higher, and meet local content, BBBEE, tax and registration requirements.

Requirements

• CIDB: Grade 1 ME or higher; registration with relevant bodies for electrical/building work.
• COIDA good standing; proof of financial capacity (bank statement within 1 week of closing date or funded by a NCR-accredited lender).
• Completion: provide 3 references/completion certificates for similar works; proof of equipment/resources (NATIS or lease with signed lease).
• Local content and transformation: 100% local direct employment; 25% women and 25% youth; engagement with targeted enterprises; proof of residence for local beneficiaries; monthly reporting on KPIs.
• BBBEE: SANAS-accredited BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit for EME/QSE; SANAS B-BBEE verification or sworn affidavit.
• Compliance: SARS tax status; CSD registration (register within 7 working days if not already); ID copies of company directors.
• Specific goals points (80/20 system): At least 51% Black Youth Owned (5 points); At least 51% Owned by People with Disabilities (15 points).
• Additional: SBD forms completed; adherence to SAFCOL Supplier Code of Conduct; confidentiality and procurement regulations.

• Pre-qualifications: CSD registration (if not on CSD, register within 7 working days of award); valid tax clearance; CIDB registration; COIDA good standing.
• Briefing/site: Site meeting is not required (Site Meeting: No).
