Overview

Procurement of construction of internal roads and stormwater management in Ward 21, Makapanstad. The project targets CIDB 5CE+ contractors with road and stormwater experience; a compulsory briefing and a 90-day tender validity apply (see (W21_Tender_Road -.pdf..pdf)).

Requirements

• CIDB registration in 5CE or higher, active during award; joint ventures allowed under CIDB rules.
• Eligible tenderers must be legally capable, financially sound, and able to provide required documentation (tax clearance, CIDB, CSD, BBBEE, SBD forms).
• Returnable documents and forms must be completed and submitted with the tender (T2.1/T2.2), including MBD 4, MBD 5, MBD 8, MBD 9, CSD, CIDB certificate, JV agreement if applicable, and proof of municipal rates (not older than 90 days).
• Attendance at compulsory briefing; absence may render tender non-responsive.
• Compliance with health and safety, OHSA requirements, and related contract data; bank rating or financial statements may be requested.
• Specified goals for PPPFA preferences (HDI, women, youth, locality) to be claimed on the appropriate forms.

How to Apply

• Submission method: one sealed tender envelope delivered to Moretele Local Municipality’s tender box at 4065 B, Mathibestad, Makapanstad 0404 (address in the tender data); late or fax/e-mail submissions are not accepted.
• Documents to submit: returnable schedules (T2.1/T2.2) plus mandatory forms (MBD 4, 5, 6, 8, 9), CIDB registration, CSD summary, BBBEE certificate, JV documents if applicable, and proof of municipal rates or lease/affidavit as specified.
• Pre-qualifications: CIDB 5CE+; CIDB active status; Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration prior to award.
• Briefing session: 10 June 2026 at 10:00 at Moretele Local Municipality; mandatory.
