Overview

Procurement of plumbing works and installation of a Speed Queen AWNE8RSN Top Load Washer inside a freight container laundry facility at Ncome Museum. Suitably qualified licensed plumbing contractors with the ability to supply labour, materials, fittings, testing, commissioning, and certification; must hold a valid plumbing licence, public liability insurance, CIDB GB1, CSD registration, tax compliance, BBBEE status, and relevant registrations. Site briefing is mandatory (04 Aug 2026) and the project site is Ncome Museum, with a container supplied by the service provider and the washer installed and commissioned (see Request for Quotation - Installation of Speed Queen Washer.pdf).

Requirements

  • CIDB GB1 registration
  • Ability to provide qualified personnel
  • Warranties and compliance certification
  • Weatherproofing, corrosion protection, and safe operation within a container environment
• Documentation and pre-qualifications:
  • CSD registration or proof of CSD report
  • BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit
  • Tax Compliance Status PIN
  • Completed SBD4 Bidder’s Disclosure (see REVISED SBD 4 -Annexure A.docx)
  • Completed SBD6.1 Preference Points Claim form (see SBD 6.1 in terms of PPR 2022.docx)
  • CIDB certificate (GB 1) and company profile
  • COIDA certificate; references for similar projects
  • Insurance certificates and plumbing licence details (see RFQ documentation)

• Closing and submission: 11 August 2026 at 16:00; bids must be submitted electronically to samkelo.tabata@ncomemuseum.org and mmfeka@msunduzimuseum.org.za (RFQ). Include itemised pricing and all returnable documents (see RFQ: itemised pricing format and listed deliverables).
