INSTALLATION OF MUNICIPAL SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS AND PUBLIC WI-FI HOTSPOTS

Overview

The tender is for the installation of municipal surveillance cameras and public Wi‑Fi hotspots, open to qualified ICT/networking contractors capable of delivering CCTV and wireless infrastructure deployments. Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in CCTV installation and public Wi‑Fi deployments (Schedule B; minimum functionality threshold to progress).
• Personnel with relevant qualifications; Cisco CCNA or higher and OEM certifications.
• Registration on National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) with full report; valid SARS Tax Clearance/Tax Compliance Status (PIN).
• CIDB registration and potential joint venture/consortium arrangements, with JV agreement submitted.
• Compliance with PPPFA 80/20; functionality threshold of 85 minimum (Phase 1: 100 points; Phase 2: 80/20).
• Mandatory bid documents: MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD7.1, MBD8, MBD9, Schedule A & B, Ethics Commitment, Authority to Sign; tender document fee; prices inclusive of VAT.
