INSTALLATION, SUPPORT AND MAINTENANCE OF ACCCESS CONTROL AND CAMERA SYSTEM.(RE-ADVERT)

Overview

The Capricorn District Municipality seeks bids for the installation, support and maintenance of access control and camera systems (re-advert). Bidders should have security-systems installation/maintenance expertise, with registrations such as CSD and tax compliance; CIDB rating if construction is involved; and specialized qualifications including IMPRO reseller/installer status and accreditation with Hikvision and Dahua; and must comply with anti-corruption disclosures and POPIA.

Requirements

• Open to bidders registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and tax-compliant; CIDB rating if construction is involved; prior disclosure and anti-corruption declarations.
• Service provider must be registered with IMPRO as reseller and installer; and registered with Hikvision and Dahua as resellers/installers.
• Compulsory briefing/site inspection on 15 October 2026.
• Bids to be deposited in the bid box by 11:00 on 30 October 2026 (sealed); late bids not considered.
• Compliance with National bid forms and conditions (MBD forms), tax PIN/CSD, and proof of municipal rates or lease, as applicable.
• CIDB applicability if construction work is involved; JV requirements and proof of registration where applicable.
• Bidders must adhere to the 80/20 preferential framework and related SCM policies.

• Submission method: Bids deposited in the Capricorn District Municipality bid box at 41 Biccard Street, Polokwane (sealed); electronic submission may be accepted per metadata.
• Documents to complete and submit: Official bid forms (MBD1, MBD4, MBD5, MBD6.1, MBD7.1/7.2, MBD8, MBD9, Annexure A, etc.), CIDB proof if construction, JV agreements if applicable.
• Required registrations/pre-qualifications: CSD number; SARS tax compliance status (PIN); municipal rates/lease proof for company and directors; CIDB if construction; IMPRO/Hikvision/Dahua registrations.
• Briefing session details: Compulsory site inspection on 15 October 2026 at the Function Room, 41 Biccard Street, Polokwane.
