INSTALLATION, SUPPORT AND MAINTENANCE OF ACCCESS CONTROL AND CAMERA SYSTEM. (RE-ADVERT)

Overview

Procurement of installation, support and maintenance of access control and camera systems for Capricorn District Municipality (re-advert). The contract covers installation, ongoing support and maintenance across multiple CDM sites, with a 36-month duration and mandatory site briefing.

Requirements

• Experience in installing, maintaining and supporting access control and CCTV systems (Hikvision and Dahua).
• Mandatory registrations: IMPRO as reseller/installer; reselling/installing status with Hikvision and Dahua.
• Tax/compliance: SARS tax compliance (PIN/TCS); where applicable, CSD number; foreign suppliers may need a pre-award questionnaire.
• Complete set of bid documents: official forms (MBD1, MBD4, MBD5, MBD6.1, MBD7.1/7.2, MBD8, MBD9), Annexures, pricing schedules; all pages initialed.
• Site briefing/inspection: compulsory attendance (scheduled 15 October 2026).
• Performance SLA: willingness to sign an SLA and comply with CDM Security Policy and POPIA.
• Evaluation: 80/20 preference points; demonstrate functionality and price, with minimum functionality requirements.
• Compliance declarations: not in the service of the state; no tender defaulters; adhere to anti-collusive practices.
• Spare parts: provide a markup on hardware spare parts (negotiable).

• Closing and submission: deposit sealed bid in the Capricorn District Municipality bid box, 41 Biccard Street, Polokwane, by 30 October 2026 at 11:00. Public bid opening.
• Documents to submit: completed bid response on official forms (MBD series), pricing schedules, Annexure A (Evaluation), CIDB where applicable, JV agreements if any, proof of tax status and CSD pin/number. (see TENDER DOCUMENTS)
