Overview

Insurance broker for short-term municipal asset and risk insurance for a 36-month period. éDumbe Local Municipality seeks FAIS-accredited insurance brokers or financial service providers to manage the municipality’s short-term asset and risk insurance portfolio. Requirements

• FAIS-licensed insurance broker / FSP (FSCA license) with short-term insurance broking authority.
• Evidence of professional affiliations: FIA, IRMSA, IISA; ISO 9001 is preferred.
• Experience managing municipal/public sector insurance portfolios.
• Complete and submit compulsory returnables: MBD1, MBD4, MBD5, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9; CSD registration report or tax clearance PIN; company proof (registration, directors IDs).
• Proof of local goals for 80/20/80/20 points (e.g., municipal rates/leasing proof for rural/urban status).
• Non-refundable document fee: R1 025.02 (document availability via ETenders and edumbe.gov.za).
