Overview

Procurement of three Dell 14 Pro 2-in-1 laptops for merSETA, including delivery and 3-year Pro Support. Bidders should be ICT hardware suppliers capable of delivering enterprise laptops that meet the stated specifications, and must comply with South African SCM requirements (CSD registration, VAT, BBBEE, etc.).

Requirements

• Bidders must be registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) and provide a valid CSD number.
• Prices must be firm, inclusive of VAT, include all related costs (delivery, travel, etc.), and be valid for 60 days from closing.
• Complete and submit the official SBD forms: SBD 4 (Bidder’s Disclosure), SBD 6.1 (Preference Points), SBD 7.1 (Contract Form) plus the Pricing Schedule.
• Provide proof of BBBEE status (certificate or affidavit) and ensure tax matters are in order on CSD.
• Supply 3 units of Dell 14 Pro 2-in-1 laptops meeting minimum specs (Windows 11 Pro, 14" touch, latest-gen processor, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, 5G modem, with 3-year Pro Support) plus included accessories (mouse, keyboard, backpack); delivery included.
• The 80/20 preference point system applies; provide documentation to claim specific goals (e.g., Black ownership, Black women ownership, Black youth ownership, White women ownership, PwD ownership) or forfeit those points.
• The contract may require signing an SLA or SBD 7.1/7.2; merSETA may conduct negotiations and is not obliged to accept the lowest bid.

  • Pricing Schedule and fully completed SBD forms (SBD 4, SBD 6.1, SBD 7.1)
  • CSD number, BBBEE certificate/affidavit
  • Evidence of tax compliance
  • Specifications compliance for the Dell 14 Pro laptops and pricing for 3 units (plus delivery)
