Overview

Procurement of the supply, installation and configuration of Internet bandwidth connectivity to all Airports Company South Africa sites (ACSA Admin Internet and Public Wi-Fi) for 12 months. Bidders should be experienced Internet Service Providers with fibre-based connectivity, capable of terminating links in ACSA Core Rooms, and able to deliver per-site bandwidth as shown in the BOQ (see Internet Bandwidth BOQ.xlsx). Submission closes 31 July 2026 (12:00); mandatory briefing 21 July 2026 (Teams).

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in providing similar internet services with three signed references.
• Fibre-based connectivity; confirmation of adherence required.
• Equipment terminated in ACSA Core Rooms at each site (per site list); confirmation letter required.
• Links to all sites with requested capacity; confirmation bandwidth can be provided.
• Install/commission/test within two months from award; confirmation letter required.
• ISP redundancy preferred but not mandatory.
• Uncapped, symmetrical speeds preferred; no shaping/throttling/Fair Usage Policy restrictions.
• Monthly utilisation reporting; real-time monitoring access for ACSA.
• Detailed project plan and certified project manager or single POC for installations.
• Service levels: high availability SLA (e.g., 98% across sites) and 24/7 fault logging.
• Returnable/admin docs: SBD forms, confidentiality, B-BBEE, tax compliance (SARS PIN), CSD, VAT, etc. (see RFQ documents for exact requirements).

• Submission method: email submissions to acsarfq@airports.co.za; or deposit documents in the bid box at the stated address.
• Documents to submit: complete official forms (SBD 1, SBD 3.3, SBD 4, SBD 6.1), Confidentiality Agreement, Tax PIN/CSD details, VAT registration, and related returnables (RFQ 54005.pdf) (see also BOQ for pricing structure) (Internet Bandwidth BOQ.xlsx).
• Pre-qualifications: Tax Compliance Status (PIN via SARS), and CSD registration if no PIN; ensure all mandatory documents are submitted.
• Briefing: compulsory session on 21 July 2026 (Microsoft Teams link).
